Giving Back

I'm super passionate about giving back.

It's my promise that every time any of my products are bought – that someone who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to afford one of my products – will receive a free coaching programme from me.

I have worked as an educator for nearly 15 years and know that quality education has the ability to lift people out of social situations.

My current partners are:

Uni of Beds

I have started talks with charities in Bedfordshire, UK and Bolivia, South America to take Creative Coaching there too! Bolivia is one of the most creative places on earth and the women there struggle every day just to feed their children. It is the poorest country in South America after Haiti. My daughter is half Bolivian, and I lived there for a few months and fell in love with it. It is a magical place. I love the people, the vibrancy, the culture and courage.

A little more about my journey…

My life changed forever, when my brother died at the tender age of 19. I was only 21 and had just started University in London.  It was a rainy Halloween night, 1998 and I was out clubbing with friends when his friends car collided with a tree at high speeds at 10.31pm. He died instantly. Which, in a way, we are all grateful for - as his injuries were horrific.

There was a gaping hole in our family's soul. Our healing journey has been a long one, but we are getting there. The hole still exists but we fill it with happy things as much as possible. The scar still gets sore and weeps, but we tend to it with love and compassion. Car crashes are violent and sudden.

I lost my brother and my best friend, but watching and living with my parents pain was unbearable at times. I often say that when you loose a sibling, you also loose your parents for a while too.

The reason why I write this is because – I think I know what helps us heal. It’s all about helping and giving back to others.  My family run a charity called the Kevin Duggan Golf Academy, sponsored by The Ryder Cup and Sport England. It is a medium sized charity provides Golf to school kids and children who might not be able to afford or access it easily.

Pouring the pain of your broken heart into helping others is what helps you put the pieces back together.  Pain is an energy and it needs tending to. It is not to be ignored and stuffed away.  This is why I am so passionate about giving back.
